I hope ur happy now
now that we have lost it all
our love remains in the past
we both thought it would always last

but thats what we get for thinking
and assuming it would never go bad
thats what we deserve for fighting
and making eachother so sad

but i walked away from a bad thing
this time i wont be the fool
i do miss our little jokes in a way
and i hate to admit, but i miss you

its not something i regret, letting u go
but its something i never expected to happen
to let a good guy go

but u weren't as good as i believed
ur sweet talking deceived
i guess i need to look past the surface
and see what lies within

i learned some things and gained some pride
but i still wish i could've been ur bride
i hope u are finally happy now
now that u made us lose it all

    Beautiful sad penned you potray here, flowed well with emotions emotions, sometimes because of hope we really don't want to be gone... but what we can say, its fate..... difficult to expecting. anyway, thanks for your nice comment, much appreciated, take care, bert ~

    I can really relate to this poem, & although it's sad to lose someone like that, you are just lucky you saw the real side of them. Otherwise you would have just gotten more hurt in the end. A great write again. Keep it up hun. =]
