I Died For Love

I watch and wait,
I look left and right,
2.30 and still no sign.

No sign of that boy,
So simple and true,
The one I once had,
Now he's giving me the blues.

I see him now,
And I watch him in hope,
In hope of a sign,
That he still knows I care.

I watch him vigorously,
But yet I'm invisible,
No sign that im there,
No sign at all.

I get impatient,
I waltz right up,
The look in his eyes,
Seemed to startle me.

I was left speechless,
In hope of any words,
Any words to help me,
Get out of this.

The situation was awkward,
I almost felt like crying,
I realised one thing,
I'm not ready to face him.

I go back,
I hear his mates laugh,
I start to cry,
I lose control.

I grab the knife,
Walk up to him again,
I say see what's happened,
You've lost me for good!

I stab the knife,
Right through my heart.

I see his face,
One last time,
I see tears,
They stream down his face.

And now I know,
I died for love.
