I don't understand

I don't understand why it has to be so hard, those three simple words.. why they hurt so much.
I wish it were to be easier, i wish it didn't cause pain, but I'm sitting here crying, on a sad lonely day.
I just wanted him too know, how i felt about him, i don't understand why he freaked out.
I wish i could take it.. all away
but i can't and it's awful..
To have to play this game.
I wish he understood,
I wish he would.
but he takes it has a joke
and walks away.
