Crown

by Insignia   Nov 10, 2006

Drop everything in momentariness of time
with every second another judgment passed:
"This heart you murdered had been mine";
"How long an oath you made will last?"

Breaths taken intermingling with a sigh.
Farewell in uncertainty outspoken,
this kiss you gave : kiss of goodbye.
This has been under pressure broken.

Wafting through - and circulating in - your mind,
no blacksmith gets this damage to repair,
those thoughts of loving me : "unkind!".
"For whom my precious heart else'd care?"

Therefore I gave in to die down,
denied to reign a land without your crown
