The Last Two's Apology

by Jay Sei   Mar 20, 2004

Sit with me...
if you don't mind sitting next to a killer.
I'm breaking your heart
only for my faults.
I'm sitting in your heart,
and I'm broken too.

This demented mind could only kill you.
The words that bleed could never come true.

I will die by only your gun.

Don't hang on every word I say;
you could fall.
The stars will die and devour me
in the black hole.
You will see how dark this world
can be without you.

This demented mind could only kill you.
The words that bleed could never come true.

I'll grab the sharpest blade,
and across my heart
the edge will fade.
Happiness of leaving you
is a dream I'd hate to dream.
Your sun will bring this wilted flower
back to life.
Our tears of guilt help to let it grow.

I will die by only your gun.

*Note: This is the apology for "Let Me Sleep" and "The Slowest Fury."
