Our first kiss.

by Benjamin Carlson   Nov 12, 2006

Frozen
Standing hand in hand
Time, slips by
Your beauty melting
My armor of caution
Destroying all hope for words.

I gaze Immersed
Pools of Hazel benevolence
Smothering all hope for thought

Bubbling from the depths
Something breaks into continencness
A question:
“Is this a dream?”

As I search for the answer
My feet begin to move
Drawn inexorably together
Our bodies connect
Your touch sending anticipation
Exploding through me

Your face nears
My mind slows

Your lips brush mine
And I loose control
Slipping
Falling
My mind swirling within a whirlwind of passion

How are you so perfect?
How are you so beautiful?
How could you like me?
