Say it in Elizabethan!

by Hannah Emellia   Nov 13, 2006

I'm writing this to tell you,
What I think you ought to know,
This poems about Elizabethan,
I hope this doesn't wreck my flow...

So it's a way of speaking,
Some people wouldn't understand,
But in it it keeps a meaning,
From the distant English lands,

People say you need an accent,
However- I know this isn't so,
All you need is a higher voice,
And femininity in your tone,

Why yes- I knew you'd understand!
I'm glad you caught on so soon,
Because even if you didn't,
It's the exact same way of speaking- only with a slightly higher tune.

(It's an inside joke.. kinda... Ha ha.. It's like Elizabethan is a way of speaking and all with an English accent... and weird words.
But when we say, "SAY IT IN ELIZABETHAN" we mean pitch your voice like... a lot higher than normal- and say it again. >.> I know.. kinda stupid but it was funny the first few months.)
