I have a secret that no one knows,
as days go by my anxiety grows.
there is a boy of whom i do not speak,
this is confidential so i can't repeat.
i dream of him almost every night,
these strong feelings i try to fight.
and even though i have someone,
this boy i love, my heart he's won.
i want to hold him close and near,
and as we connect our souls will bear.
he is on my mind almost everyday,
but i will never find the courage to say.
say how i feel as he looks into my eyes,
i anticipate rejection as i start to cry.
