My brothers and sister remember this

by leah j   Nov 15, 2006

Hand in hand we scuffed towards the tree,
in baggy pajamas with floppy feet,

wiping the sleep from our wondering eyes,
were we each had a suprise,

our letters had been answered,
our wishers granted,
delivered while we slept,
by that sneaky santa,

our new toys were tested
then for a minute forgotten
while we dumped the goodies,
from our bulging stockings,

were no longer kids,
the years went so fast,
but brothers and sister,
i wish for you,
all the wonder and joy of those
christmas past.
merry christmas

There were a few mistakes here and there, but I could feel what was going on. Nice poem.
