Better off without me

by Ashley   Nov 15, 2006

Iâ??m sitting here on my couch,
Waiting for you to call.
My mind all jumbled,
And my heart is racing faster than I could ever run,
But just the thought of hearing your voice,
Makes me stop and wonder.
Why are we doing this?
You have someone by your side,
But yet,
So do I
SShould??t this feel wrong?
But yet at this particular time,
It feels right.
That first kiss,
Sent a thrill though my body,
It had passion and meaning,
Like nothing Iâ??d ever felt before.
Your body against mine, as I leaned against the wall,
You were strong but gentle,
All in all.
I got lost in your arms,
As your books fell to the floor,
And I just kept pulling you in more.
You were afraid,
But so was I,
It just never showed,
Except for in my eyes.
During school you never look my way,
In fear of getting lost in my eyes.
But I know that you truly want to be by my side.
You know that I love you,
And have for a long while,
But since I diddidt tell you,
I might not get you
Until the ending of time
I really want you to be happy,
Most likely with me in your arms,
But sometimes I think that maybe,
Just maybe,
You are better off without me.
