Not Strong Enough Anymore

You look at me with a smile I smile back,
Then I see her coming through I feel under attack,
I wince at you and slink into my seat,
Just to keep looking over never admitting defeat,

There is just nothing else I can do,
About this feeling of loving just you,
My heart has broken a million times,
By now it`s probably the size of a dime,

Every day I see you I can`t stop staring,
She comes again and my heart starts tearing,
Then you smile at me and it starts beating again,
But I ask myself when will this feeling end,

Because I`m not strong enough anymore,
And my heart has become sore,
I can`t keep crying myself to sleep,
For you can`t always have my heart to keep.

    Thanks for the very nice comment on my poem! I thought certain lines in this were a little childish...but I did like these two lines a lot

    I can`t keep crying myself to sleep,
    For you can`t always have my heart to keep.
