Turkey Day!

by Karin   Nov 17, 2006

Hope you have a good turkey-day!
It's a day when families all go away.
Carving turkey Thursday night;
Do you eat the dark meat or the light?

After dinner is some pumpkin pie...
Someone ate all the pie! Oh my!
What are we going to do now?
Was it the pig, or was it the cow?

Run to the store quick for more;
But there's a huge line coming out of the door!
Driving around to find another place
But the traffic is moving at a very slow pace.

"It's a turkey-day disaster!
Why can't the cars move faster?!"
Giving up and going back home
*GASP!* The pie-eater was Uncle Jerome!

His flight got in early;
He came with Aunt Pearly.
They found the pie and said, "Why not?"
The desire to not eat the pie wasn't even fought.

So that's the end of this mystery.
If all you pie is eaten, it will be a misery.
But just remember one thing this Thanksgiving when you go home:
Don't invite Uncle Jerome!!!
