Very nice imagery with the ships. A well used metaphor. You really have some splendid love poems. You have written better ones than this, but each poem holds a different meaning for the poet, and that is still something beautiful.

Beauitfully written! The 1st stanza was a very nie way to open it and I especially liked the last line. The 2nd stanza was absolutely amazing and you worded it perfectly. It probably stood out to me the most out of the whole poem. And the third stanza was really amazing also.. I could definitely relate to it alot. And I really like the way that you ended it. I'm not sure how to explain why, it was just an amazing way to end this poem! Beautiful write! 5/5

I can't believe I hadn't commented on this before (I know I read it before). This is so well written, I like the Greek metaphor, and the rhyme scheme is flawless and flows perfectly, but it is the pure emotion of love and loss that truly touches the heart. Excellent piece!
