Shattered Heart

by Eman D   Mar 21, 2004

Our love started with exchanging a glance.
I was so happy that I'd prance.
Back and fourth we would blow kisses.
We were so into each other we forgot about wishes.

Glad I was walking with you arm in arm.
You were lovely charm.
One of a kind feeling of touching your lips.
As I look in your eyes I place my hands on your hips.

Together we would cuddle in bed.
While you slept I gave you a kiss on your forehead.
I loved waking up and seeing your face.
Our love moved at a fast pace.

Always together morning and night.
We were inseparable, we were so tight.
A little argument could turn into a fight.
But we would always get together and make it right.

You could never make me cry.
If you die, so do I.
I listen as the heart beats in your chest.
You were everything and nothing less.

Now tears fall from my eyes.
I can't believe I listened to your lies.
You said you'd be there for me until the end.
But I caught you making out with my best friend.
