In the end

I miss the butterflies and that sparkle in my eye
I had forgoten how it felt for my breathe to be taken away
so when i felt all those things as you passed me by
I finally remembered what it was like to love today.

I couldn't think, my thoughts just went away
my knees went weak and i don't know how i was able to stand
I swear my heart stopped beating
as i felt the brush of your hand.

But that brush of your hand was all a mistake
Cause you didn't even notice i was there
And it was in that moment that i realized
nothing in life will ever be fair.

Again my heart is shattered on the floor
just as soon as it was able to feel
Just as the last tear is dried
i finally realize love is not real

It is only a trick played on your mind
It makes your heart believe a lie
And it will leave you so broken and beaten down
you will have nothing left to do but cry.
