Take You With Me

by ntv650   Nov 22, 2006

Summer winds chase the heathen winter rains,
Lead the way along my path of life, lead the path I take.
Hold my promises in your hands and hide them away,
Show them to no-one, keep them to yourself, today.
Then lead me gently by the wrist, show me the way.
Push me away or pull me to, but show me the way.

In the breeze's touch in my soft tender kiss,
Bring me affection, give me your promises.
Underneath a willow blowing in a quiet place,
Tell me what you want, where I should go
And do not let the world outside spoil this.

Mysterious lights and colours come along,
Make this moment more magical than before.
Tentative kisses bloom into passionate touch,
We'll not waver and nothing will stop us tonight.
So hold your words and show me simple meanings,
Gently lead the way but let me take you with me!
