You'll sit,
With a new girl I'll bet,
As I sit here alone,
With my empty regret.

I'm so sorry I was selfish,
And just couldn't see,
How much you really,
Meant to me.

Now my heart stings,
As my eyes cry,
I blame myself,
For all the lies.

I pick up the pieces,
Of my shattered dreams,
And put them away,
The cause is lost it seems.

I scream in my head,
And only wish he could see,
How I loved him so much,
How could he do this to me?

I put down my guard,
Thought we'd make it this time,
Then I feel my heart break again,
And just pretend that I'm fine.

"regret" could be a good title or "Crying Alone" could be an idea.
    this is a beautiful poem.
