6 Tears
Each night, before I go to bed...
thoughts of you run through my head.
It feels as if I've known you for years,
and on my pillow falls 6 missing you tears.
The 1st for your smile I miss,
and the taste of your lips I long to kiss.
The 2nd for your darling face,
and the warmth of your sweet embrace.
The 3rd comes as no surprise,
for it's for those loving eyes.
The 4th comes rolling, cause instead of my pillow,
it should be you I'm holding.
The 5th comes for 1 reason alone,
my love for you isn't fully shown.
Each night, I miss you my love, my dear...
and right then and there falls that 6th tear.
