The first love (not your ordinary love poem)

by Joleen   Nov 26, 2006

(the first love)

Love so forgiving, true and blue
These feelings so strong, all i need is you...

My trust i give, your honor i gain
Only happiness and joy,no sadness, nor pain...

Deep as an ocean, shallow as a stream,
A notion of hope, a feeling of glee...

Wrapped in your arms, your heart against mine,
The warmth of your touch...oh so fine...

Steady it beats, as a drum,
Our love as green as a gardners thumb...

No matter how you say it,
There's no wrong, nor right...

Don't let me go, hold me all night...

You kiss my lips into the depths of the night,
Yours against mine, a lock so tight...

I must go now, for our song is done,
My ride's in the drive, and here comes the sun...

Our dance has been danced, songs have been sung,
Thus ends the story ...of the first love...

an anonomous dedication
