Courting The Rose

by Ryu Sama   Nov 28, 2006

Rose of Darkness,
He calls out to thee.
You're beauty is greater,
then the vastest sea.
You're slender vines,
wind round, and round.
You're roots grow deep,
Far below the ground.
Caressing you're silk petals,
he can do nothing but stare.
You're indescribable scent,
Fills the crisp night air.
He can hardly stand it,
only you fill his mind.
You're locked in the garden,
a key he must find.
And once he has found it,
His you will be.
He'll keep you forever,
In his vase, for eternity.
