Voices

by Kiks   Mar 23, 2004

In my room,
upon my bed,
the voices resume
inside my head.
"We'll all get minors,
you think your SO tough!"
"You'll never be quite good enough."
"Look at all your terrible grades!"
I roll over and shut the shades.
"You two-faced b*tch!"
"You Red River snitch,
you never really had my back!"
Window closes, room goes black.
"Your too fat,
you can't wear that."
"Sorry, you can't borrow this skirt,
and you'd probably stretch that shirt."
"This party blows!"
My eyes start to close.
"You broke the car!"
"I'll be at the bar."
"You broke my heart,
tore us apart!"
"Let's keep it on the low,
no one ever has to know."
"Get a job!!"
I begin to sob.
"I'm really trying!"
"No, your lying!"
"Your faces are one in the same."
"Why'd you have to miss my game?"
"I hate you, cuz you hate me!"
"You f*cked up the family tree!"
"I have to go clean off my bed..."
"Those drugs are f*cking with your head!"
They keep coming, it never stops,
then suddenly a silence drops.
I'm now asleep,
or so it seems.
The voices creep
into my dreams.
