Mine to Keep

by XXTruthSeekerXX   Nov 30, 2006

Pink trimmings
Line the diary of time
Inside lay a rose
So old is its name
Yet so young is its love
Glowing inside me
Tenderly

So far away
Your home to mine
A man of the ocean
While I, lady of land
Though We're distant
We sing the same song
Nightly

The faint aroma
of the roses' enchantment
Linger on my pillow
Just as you left imprints
Inside my core
My steady beating heart
Right here

I think you should find a profession in this kind of literature. It's so original and again so descriptive a flawless piece. Keep scribblin'
