Epilogues and pleasantries

by scenekiddieshere   Dec 2, 2006

The scene starts here
black and white photographs
they stayed the same in this whole mess of teenage angst
i can\'t remember which is more screwed up
memories or friendly pleasantries

chapter two starts here
your best friends sixteenth birthday party
you know what I\'m talking about.
you remember the night.
yeah, I loved you, too.

chapter three starts here
the theatre we sat in when you kissed me.
and I\'m tired of crawling back to you.

chapter four starts here
the night i fell alseep in your bed
and woke up with a hangover.
inncoence and alcohol never went too well together.

chapter five starts here
the night my best friend called me with the bad news.
well, screw you anyways.
i cried till i couldn\'t breathe that night.
and now i\'m through.

The end starts here
the night I saw you, and everything that happened was irrecoverable.
we said nothing.
but I know you felt it.
i guess things just work out like that.

the epilogue starts here
at a grave site nobody saw coming
well well well
cyanide and razorblades make for a heartbreaking night.
don\'t worry.
I wasn\'t planning on waking up anyway.
