Jealous.

She stands at the dance
In her expensive red dress
All dolled up
In hopes he will ask her
Hours pass, she sees him walk by
Not a word is spoken
Between the two
Eye contact is all
She finally decides to leave
When she sees him dancing
With some girl.
"He doesn't like me.
He never will."
She says to herself.
"I know I'll always be lonely."
He sees her walk out the door
Into the pouring down rain
Leaves the girl he used
To make the one he loved
Jealous.
He sees her get into her car.
Runs to catch her.

She looks in her mirror
Only to see tears and make up
Running down her face.
Hours of primping, gone to waste.

He comes up to her window,
She rolls it down
He sees her tears,
\\\"What\\\'s wrong?\\\"
He asks.

\\\"I love you, that\\\'s what.\\\"
