I am not that kind of fool

by ivan070   Dec 2, 2006

I am not that kind of fool;
That you thought I am;
And you are not as strong;
As you seem to be;

I heard you well,
Your message is loud;
The neccessity does not arise;
For you to repeat your self
Much too often...

I asked you in vain;
To love me for who I am;
Our love is still alive;
But the passion is long dead;
I see staleness;
And boredom is killing me;

Please understand;
I am not the perfect man
That you are searching for;
And you are no longer;
The girl I once knew;

Maybe we should
Let our love die naturally;
Let it run astray;
Embarking with no regrets;
On the road of no return...
Ending our loneliness.
