Seasons Collide

by Christine   Dec 5, 2006

Crisp breeze,
Falling leaves,
Serenity.
Nights lengthen,
Sharp breaths taken,
A capful of wind
Leading the leaves,
In their last dance.
Fall.

Dew covered,
Spell bound,
Chills.
Velvet blanket,
Blinding white,
Silent beauty,
Of the night.
Winter.

Slipping through,
Flowers blooming,
Showers.
Butterflies gliding,
Cold subsiding,
Leaving now with
Bigger puddles to conquer.
Spring.

Heat wave,
Road trip,
Thrills.
Laying on the sand,
Catch a wave,
One final crushing blow
Releasing fury from the ocean.
Summer.
