Love's true meaning

Night had fallen, and sadness wrapped my body
I felt so alone and forsaken
No one wanted to befriend someone like me

I heard a voice from afar calling
Hope in me suddenly surged through
The fears in me awaits to be taken

To be taken out this world of blue
All my life I was searching for a real friend
And now after such a long time, I found someone true

I've always wished for my heart to mend
I've been wishing for someone then you came
And from a stranger, I found a friend I can depend

He gave me love and I asked his name
He begun to answer and went on and stuttered
He gave his name and found myself lame

For he need not to reveal himself and have it uttered
But he did and said: "I am you constant protector...
For I am your dear old father

And when you found that the world is filled with lies
I had my love shield you all over

And now, from your downfall you will rise
