Let the rain fall

by Megan   Dec 7, 2006

He broke her heart
She drove away
It is like her pain
controlled the rain.
Her cheeks were just as
streaked as her windshield.

The days turned
to years and
never did she smile
the sun wouldn't shine
each night a storm would rouse
her eyes would start to cloud.

She finally noticed
the power of her love
and thought of such riddance
it all went dark the lightning strike
and down the rain would fall her
heart at which the pain would claw.

She thought ,he, never to return
so this one last storm drove
her to her death and she floated
to the skies as she
let the rain fall.
