So You Call That A Heart?

by Ian Robert   Dec 12, 2006

And he means everything to her,
As she looks over her hood lined with fur,
A rolling tear from her cheek,
Falling as she screams about this past week.

Ive learnt a thing or two about you,
Over the edge and broken into a new hue,
A guy who never really took the time to understand,
About all the things that actually made him a man.

Suppose the worlds about the end,
My secrets forge a fantasy thats bound to bend,
As her diary reads itself out loud,
And everyone will hear as its shout into the crowd.

A memory long forgotten brought up to bring tears,
Throw away the truth along with your fears,
I hate the growing ocean and the way you think of me,
With him a simple answer is the secret upon you agree.

So with this heart Ill take a life, and sink to the bottom of your sea,
Losing touch with the one thing that makes up my humanity,
If only I could put back the pieces of this organs beating,
Youd make me whole and maybe I could once again start feeling.
