Jesus Told Me So 12-11-06©

by Amanda Clayburn   Dec 12, 2006

She lay on the wooden floor
Knife pressed against her throat
Slipped it and waited till it bled
That wasn't enough, so she put a gun to her head
Hoping this could make her dead
A shot triggered and the sound echoed
Do you think now she is a sick-o?
That bullet never went through her brain
It stayed in her skull cracked, on memory lain
So she bled on the wooden floor
Trying to open the kitchen door
Slither to the tile and marking death
This is what Jesus had said:
"Keep it pressed against the wall
And make sure you family sees it all
Pay no attention to their eyes and lips
Drink this poison wine with I one simple sip
And heart will be frozen and dull
Letting your fingers drop the wine cup fall
And music begins to ring your ear
Tell what you what my small dear
Rest and be withered and motionless
Because now you are heartless"
