Fearing Me

by Rachel   Dec 12, 2006

My dying days have come
Even at an age that is still so young.
It's time to say good bye to all that I know,
All that was precious I still hold dear.
Can't you see it in my eyes?
Tonight, I am Fear,
I am the fear in your eyes
When the monitor catches my last pulse and gives it everything.
No longer am I Fear, but I am something more.
As my hand drops dead to the floor,
I become Cold, I become Sorrow.
I become everything you never wished for.
I feed off of your regret
Oh, you can bet, I'll be here forever.
Forever haunting you during sleep, nightmares, and until you wake.
My illusion is your reality,
My sense of composure is your monster.
I am everything you wish never happened.
