Clouds

by Bridget   Dec 13, 2006

*I wrote this poem in 2005, it's not very good but i would like people to vote for anyway!*

As i lie on the grass,
Look up at the sky,
I see all the clouds passing by.
One cloud i see is in the shape of a cat,
Another one i see is as grey as a rat.

I can look at the clouds,
For hours on end,
It's like the clouds,
Are my new best friends.
When the clouds disappear,
On come more,
The cat cloud meows,
The lion cloud roars.

You may not look at the clouds,
The way I do,
All you need is an imagination,
And an eye or two.
You might want to look at them with a friend I suggest,
But being alone with the clouds,
I think is best.

Your comment at the beggining that says this isn't the best poem you ever wrote is the wrong way to look at it. Every poem a person writes has a meaning, its something that happens at a certain moment in time. people judge poems by the way they rhyme or the words used in them but keep in mind that there are no bad poems because poems are expressions of feelings, and a persons feelings are not bad....I loved your poem because it is different from the ones a person usualy hears....i am going to read more of your stuff and i would like you to read mine so if you have any time look up my name and please vote and comment on my poems
