Wonder

by Norrie MacDonald   Dec 15, 2006

The feel of aggression
sounds to good to beat
on top your skull crashing
vengeance is sweet.

Dead in a grave, your final place
The maggots infest your disfigured face
Christ the lord is this real
so cold set the sands of time
as in the book hate heals

the sounds of nothing
this place at ease
this stinking body of grief, pain and disease.

it comes to an end
buried six feet under
life's off the bend
of family's wonder.

    You've driven me speechless.
    Wordless at ease,
    My senses render me,
    Slowly feelings pleased.
