You scream at me
and tell me not to cry
but how can I not
when you say you want to die

My heart aches in pain
at the words you say to me
I wait for it to stop
and die in misery

But then you hold me
and prove that it is okay
and as hurt as I am
I believe what you say

You tell me you will never go
you will never leave me alone
