Why I Would Make A Good Friend

Like all of you, I'm one of a kind
with thoughts to unwind.

I am always willing to hear
hoping to make things clear.

I may not be gangsta, cool, or hip,
but I'll always be there in a zip.

Should you feel you're a mess,
I'm there to relieve your stress.

I am never picky,
for being you comes naturally.

I have the best intention
of easing contravention.

I may not have a lot to talk about
but rest assured I'd never leave you down and out.

I am as loyal as a dog
to help you see through any fog.

I am thoughtful as well as true
always be there when you are blue.

I make mistakes just like any other person, which is no surprise,
but to add, I happen to be very wise.

I admit most of the time I am forgetful,
but at the same time, I am considerably helpful.

If you ever need someone there to the end,
I pray to also be that friend.
