Lasting love

by crystal   Dec 18, 2006

We used to be so happy
And never got in a fight
Then things got real crappy
And suddenly not right

We used to hold hands
And walk down the street
You where were heaven stands
Here on earth it'd meet

Your luscious lips
Make things so right
With your hands on my hips
I am held tight

This day I will stay
Lost in your arms
Hoping not to float away
From your loving charms..

I'd long to be within your grasp
Just to feel your touch
Oh, how I love you so
And miss you so much

I'd long for the moment
A second to be with you
With out you just was torment
I wouldn't want to be put through

I'd wait for the time
To cuddle in the chair
And if that was ever a crime
I surely wouldn't care..

I wanted to be with you
And touch your soft, smooth skin
I never wanted to be put through
This awful, worthless sin..

We used to look at the stars
And stay on the phone late at night
We'd watch them pass like speeding cars
And I'd turn to you with fright

You would always hold me close
Never to let go
That's what I loved the most
And I just thought you should know..

You where the light
Leading through the Storm
Protecting me from the devil's sight
And any pain to form

The shelter in the rain
Come take away my fear
Let no more pain
Ever to come near...

That's what is was like
With you and me
Now that is no longer
For we are not to be...

*missing him*
