My Broken Heart

by Crying My Angry Tears   Dec 21, 2006

And as I watch you weep,
I cannot help but think
That maybe you chose the wrong choice
My tears to you are mere ink
Writing nothing but a fairytale
Why do you think I'm false?
I understand your pain
We all beat the same pulse
And now she's gone
And I'm pushed to the side
And in my heart I know
It was my fault she died
But you didn't listen
You argued and ignored
Even though I was crying
Even though I implored

You say it wasn't me,
You say that it was you
You say you should have stopped it,
You say I never knew

But I could have changed it
I could have saved her life
And I think you really know that
I COULD have saved her life

If I'd given you up
If I'd let you go to her
But the truth is that I wouldn't
I'd never let you go, never

And now that it's too late
And now I cannot make it right
I know a saved life
Would be worth a broken heart

-True story. Ask me, if you really care.

This is crap too...
