Vivid Description

by *~Broken_Seraph~*   Dec 22, 2006

I awaken to the sound of 10,000 screams,
the breeze of this plain slicing open my flesh
like a million razors flying through the air.

Confused, I reach out and I feel the rocky cliff I cling to.
Flowers surrounding me, feel like sand between my toes.
Stumbling over I trip, I feel my face, eyes are gone.

The taste of blood and year old milk stuck in my mouth,
causing me to vomit.
The smell of the sulfur atmosphere drives me to near madness.

I hear another scream, near me this time,
I get up and stumble towards it.
A hand touches mine, silky and smooth.

Guided by Sophia, the incarnation of wisdom
leading me through this abyss.
Stumbling around for aeons upon aeons, finally,
a second hand touches mine.

Sophia, wisdom incarnate, have I finally found him
says the girl.
He who whose soul fits mine
the sound of rushing waters erupts from its mouth.

Take heed to my words, and blessed be.
For I have brought thee together.
And sanctioned your love. Beware for many trials still lie ahead

Said Sophia, her hands leave mine,
her form leaving our midst.
But her voice heard in the distance,
beckoning us.
