Killing Love

by Marcus   Dec 26, 2006

How long can you live a life of lies?
Contently pretending the make believe is true.
The "Make believe" is so gospel quoted,
that it persuades even you.

How long before your lies catch up,
and expose you for who you are.
That's frightening, because you felt if people knew you,
Your image would be scar.

How long can you constantly cry at night,
weeping from the grief of your tears.
Overcome and capture by the tears of your soul,
Being whipped by the belt of hell's cries.

How long before your lies collide,
and you forget what lies you told.
You even get drained by your constant stories.
and you wish your lies were untold.

How long before you lie to the wrong one,
and loose there trust indeed.
The one that love and respected you,
and was there in the time of need.
