Shadows of Athority

by Samantha   Dec 27, 2006

A soft languid kiss stolen in the shadows of authority.
Not abiding by the rules set by society.
He tells her 'let's run away together at midnight!'
She gazes at him hopefully, "During the full moon?"
He cups her face, "We could be so happy together."
Another kiss and they are caught.
Their secret love, all for naught.
Into a dungeon room he goes,
Into a tower cell, she screams her woes.
His stomach emptied and his throat parched.
Her brains splattered in the park.
Their souls fly away under the cold moon,
Authority pissed and gooned.
