Dear girl

by unsure-of-self   Dec 28, 2006

Dear Girl,
I'm sorry to hear that he hurt you the way he did. You wear your heart on your sleeve and fell fast and hard. I know you feel worthless and used but I want to know that you only deserve the best and no other boi can tell you differ. Your beautiful inside and out. Your not the only girl he did this too. All the poems he wrote and the funny nicknames he called you he did for every girl. You weren't the first girl he hurt and defiantly not the last girl.I hope this will get you to realize you don't need a boi like that. Girl remember I'm always here for you when know no one is around. I love you so much

Sincerely
your broken heart

Though this writing isn't written with normal poetic conventions, it nevertheless contains a seed of honesty and originality that seems lacking in lots of poems. Grab ahold of that authenticity and keep writing, please!
