An Ode to Our Nothingness

by Jamie   Dec 28, 2006

As I look into your eyes,

I know exactly what you are thinking.

I thought the same for you!

That special bond you have with her,
No more do I have with you.

The Love you hold so great, and
The love I will always have for you,
We never want to fade.

I wish I could flip the world right now,
making you be the one writing this,
An Ode to Nothingness.

Wish we loved each other exactly the same.

Yes, I am happy for you, but I want you to be happy for me.

But, as I fear every night,
your the only one who I will let myself have.

Someday love will pound at my door.
But, I will only laugh in its face,
Love will then cry itself to sleep,
Love only needs to be brave.
So brave, that it knocks the huge, thick, wall around my heart down.

Then, Love will be in my arms.
Love will be there for the both of us
Each for another.

I love those lines, it almost made the emotion seem like a real person.
    It's an amazing poem
    Well done!
