Surreptitious Love

by bUtIfLdIsAsTr   Dec 29, 2006

I sneak a glance in your direction
You return a mischevious smile
If only she knew what we were up to
It would break her spirit

But I can't find it in my heart for that to matter to me
Especially with you so close to being mine

I know you want me as much as I have wanted you
It's only a matter of time before this becomes uncontrollable

And yet...I can't wait

Even if our love affair is only temporary
It will have been worth all the days I have spent, watching you with her

Laughing and smiling like the world was perfect
But behind that smile of yours
Lies a secret she will never forget
