I gave you my soul

I gave my soul for a moment
a single moment in time
I gave my soul to touch you
and the feeling was devine
I gave my soul for one night
so that we could become one
I would give my soul to love you
but it could never be enough.

I'm sorry if this shocks you
It was never meant that way
For if i never said it
It would never fade away

So give me time my new found friend
For i dont know what to do.
So i give you my soul in friendship
and may it forever remain with you.
