You are my smile

by Secret   Jan 1, 2007

I met you in a boring hour,
But you made it fun with your sweet laugh
I met you in the cold rain
But you made the warm sun appear
I didn't know who you were
I still don't
But you made me smile when I needed to
And I miss that.
I miss you even though you're a stranger.
Why were you smiling?
Why were your eyes so deep?
Why could everybody else see what I couldn't?
And what did you see in me?
If I could speak to you to day I would tell you how much I regret
That I didn't do what was so obvious.
That I was so scared and confused that I closed my eyes
And let you pas by.
And now you're gone and I don't know if I ever see you again
Even though it hurts I still think of you every day
You're like my inner smile
A smile that never will cry and never give up.
Also a hope for better days and a meeting with you in a distant future
You're like my strength that keeps me standing strong even if everything seems to go wrong.
And I will always remember you and never ever forget you
Because you're my smile
