I\'m so glad you\'re mine

by Jan   Jan 2, 2007

Intro:

Buses we ride,
Malls we walked,
Sometimes you don't expect something to show up.

In everyone's life, we always bump on someone,
Someone who's unknown,
And we always have that feeling that we knew who they are.

Start of the poem...(lol)

Before I met you I asked the Lord one night,
With only one wing Lord, will I still take flight?
I wanna fly to someone who has the wing I'm missing,
Coz I'm the king searching for my queen.

Now the unknown is known,
You've turned my frown upside down,
Even though I'm sick I would always want to see you,
Coz every word you say,
Makes me have a better day.

Yesterday, I was so cold,
And you were there taking care of me without being told,
I've never felt this way before,
When you were there with me, I was warm to the core.

I think of you more than ever,
I hope this is now forever,
I think of how you're beautiful to me,
And how those eyes,
Makes my frustration dies.

Cupid really did his thing,
What a careful aim he did to me,
He pointed me to you,
I'm so glad you're mine, Julie Ann Pilares
