Dallas

Put the pedal to the floor now.
Let's take this somewhere new.
Just to the feel the air, rush through hair.
I'm driving back to you.

There's our photo.
Stuck on to the dash.
And there's your sweater.
And ive got no cash.
But it's been so long.
Ill make it there come night.
Don't crease the bed sheets.
Ill be holding you so tight.

Ill play our song.
Ill play it loud.
Ill wind this window down and sing it all out loud.
I see your face In the back seat.

Im driving back to you.
Down this highway 101.
Sunglass tinted skies so sweet.
Your heart will race to a new beat.

Home just looks so different.
The faces have all changed.
And the flowers on our front lawn have all been rearranged.
But there you are, standing at the door.
You're my angel.
I couldn't ask for more.
So come one girl, run into my arms.
Cuz I wont drop you.
I wont drop you anymore.
