Why

I thought that what we had was real
I thought I found the one for me
But instead I was blinded in the shadows
While life walked right by

You promised yourself to me
I gave you my all
Then I watched as you walked away
My vision blurred by crushed dreams

What happened to us?
I thought we'd last forever
Now i lay here and wonder
If your heart is as broken as mine

They say that I'll move on
Another love will come my way
But I could never love another
As dearly as I love you

So, I only ask one thing of you
Please don't forget what we had
The love we shared
The life we had planned

    This was really good, i liked it.
    just a tip, don't use one word titles very often. It doesn't catch the readers eye, and then lovely work like this doesnt get as many comments.
