When everything around me was breaking apart
You opened up a door for me,
You let me look inside
You let me see the answers to all his lies.

I was looking for the answers
To where my life would lead
Then you walked into my life
Standing by the door
You stopped and looked right at me never letting go!

I was broken when you met me,
But with you I feel alive,
There was something about you,
That I saw in your eyes.

I want to be able to tell you all the things I feel inside.
Every time I look at you
I tell you how I feel,
But for some reason the words don't come out.
Silence is all you hear.

I turn around and look away
Not knowing where to go,
Trying to hide the way I feel,
Trying to let this go!

I don't know why I cover my eyes,
Running from a world I can't deny.
Hoping these feelings will go away
Because I can't fall for you in any way.

Everything will change from that moment on.
Becoming something I can't explain.
Something so wonderful
Something so great.

So why is it I can't let you in?
Why I can't explain?!?

I was broken when you met me.

Now I sit here wondering if you're the guy.

A feeling growing inside me
Not wanting to let you know.
