Thanks for Spring

by Rachel RTVW   Jan 3, 2007

Flowers in bloom, drops of dew,
spring is here, life's anew.
Birds are singing, a happy song,
nights are shorter, days are long.
The sun shines brightly, rivers flow,
miracles of nature begin to grow.

Joy in heaven, angels cry,
soon their tears fill our sky.
Drops of love, come falling down,
a rainbow forms our Savior's crown.
Thank God for such natural splendor,
and for all the life He chose to render.

The consistently high quality of your poetry continues to astound me. Your rhymes are excellent, as always. Once again, 5/5!

P.S. I originally wrote "Some Things Never Change" to be a (rock) song, but I never managed to find a good tune for it. Just thought I'd tell you, since you mentioned its suitability to be a song. :)

Another wonderful poem from a wonderful poet. The flow was good as well as the strucutre. Although it was short, it was straight to the point. Good Job!

    Peace, Joe

This poem was so cute, like a bunny hopping around in a forest. Very truthful, of course the rhyming was magnificent. All your poems are lovely, and that's why I added you to my favorites. great job!
